ગણેશ વિસર્જન એટલે ગણેશ ચતુર્થીથી શરૂ થનાર ગણેશ મહોત્સવનો છેલ્લો દિવસ છે. ભક્તો માટે ગણેશ વિસર્જનનો દિવસ બહુ વિકટ હોય છે. ગણેશ વિસર્જનના દિવસે વિઘ્નહર્તાને વિદાય આપતી વખતે ભક્તોની આંખો અશ્રુભીની થઇ જાય છે. ગણેશ વિસર્જન સાથે ભક્તો ગણપતિ બાપ્પાને આગલા વર્ષે વહેલા પધારવા પ્રાર્થના સાથે ભાવભર્યું આમંત્રણ પણ આપે છે. ગણેશ વિસર્જન એક ધાર્મિક વિધિ હોવાની સાથે સાથે આપણને એક સંદેશ પણ આપે છે. અહીં ગણેશ વિસર્જન શુભેચ્છા સંદેશ આપ્યા છે. આ શુભકામના સંદેશ તમારા પ્રિયજનોને ગણેશ વિસર્જનની શુભેચ્છા પાઠવવાની સાથે આધ્યાત્મિક સંદેશ પણ આપી શકાય છે. ભાદરવી સુદ ચૌદશ પર ગણેશ વિસર્જન કરવામાં આવે છે. તેને અનંત ચૌદશ, અનંત ચતુર્દશી કે આનંદ ચૌદશ પણ કહેવાય છે. ભાદરવી સુદ ચોથ એટલે ગણેશ ચતુર્થી પર ગણપતિ દાદાની સ્થાપના થાય છે. 10 દિવસ સુધી પૂજા કર્યા બાદ 11માં દિવસ એટલે કે ભાદરવી સુદ ચૌદશ પર ગણશેજીની મૂર્તિનું પાણીમાં વિસર્જન કરવામાં આવે છે. ગણેશ વિસર્જન સાથે ભક્તો ગણપતિ બાપ્પાને આગલા વર્ષે વહેલા પધારવાનું આમંત્રણ આપે છે. અહીં ગણેશ વિસર્જન એક ધાર્મિક વિધિ હોવાની સાથે સાથે આપણને એક સંદેશ પણ આવે છે.
